How Much Does TikTok Pay Per 1,000 Views? 2026 Figures

⏱️ Reading time: 7 minutes

Creators in the Creator Rewards Program report $0.40 to $1.20 per 1,000 qualified views in 2026. In the United States the band sits at $0.50 to $1.50, in Brazil it drops to $0.15. These are figures collected from creator payout screens, not a rate card: TikTok publishes no fixed price and the number moves every month. Getting in requires 10,000 followers, 100,000 views in 30 days and videos over one minute. If the missing piece is reach rather than eligibility, start with TikTok views.

The programme that pays for views in 2026

One thing to clear up first, because half the pages ranking for this query still get it wrong: the Creator Fund is gone. TikTok closed it at the end of 2023 after years of complaints about tiny payouts. What replaced it is the Creator Rewards Program, and it works on a different principle.

The old fund split a fixed pot among every participant, so each new creator diluted everyone else. The current programme calculates a reward per video from four factors TikTok names openly: originality, play duration, search value and audience engagement.

The consequence is direct. Two videos with the same view counter can pay very different amounts. A 90 second video watched to the end that answers something people actually type into search is worth several times a one minute clip most viewers abandon after eight seconds.

The real eligibility rules

Six conditions sit on the account and four on each video. Miss one and the counter stays at zero.

On the account:

  • Be 18 or older, 19 in South Korea.
  • Have at least 10,000 authentic followers.
  • Reach 100,000 views in the last 30 days, on a rolling window, so the threshold is lost as easily as it is met.
  • Use a personal account. Plenty of creators switch to a Business account for the analytics and get locked out without ever being told why.
  • Carry no active Community Guidelines strike.
  • Be registered in a country where the programme exists.

On each video: longer than one minute, original with no watermark from another platform, no Duets, Stitches or Photo Mode, and at least 1,000 views coming from the For You feed.

The 10,000 follower bar is the first wall, and the only one you can act on directly, unlike views which depend on the algorithm. That is why many accounts firm up a base of TikTok followers before chasing monetisation.

What 1,000 views actually pay

TikTok publishes no rate. The numbers below come from aggregated creator payout reports published in 2026 and from videos where the earnings screen is filmed. They are observations, not a commitment.

The band that keeps coming back is $0.40 to $1.20 per 1,000 qualified views. High advertising value niches such as finance, health and tech regularly clear $1.00 and sometimes $2.00.

The load bearing word is qualified. A view counts only if it comes from the For You feed, is unique, and lasts more than five seconds. Bought views, views from a paid promotion and views flagged as artificial are all excluded. On a video showing 100,000 views, the paid base is always lower, sometimes by half.

Something most articles skip: the rate moves month to month. Creators have reported $3.55 per 1,000 views one month and ten cents the next, with nothing changed on their end. A bad month is not necessarily a penalty.

Why country and video length change everything

As of September 2026 the programme runs in eight countries. Register anywhere else, Canada, Australia, India and most of Europe included, and no amount of views pays anything through this channel.

Region Per 1,000 qualified views
United States $0.50 to $1.50
United States, finance, tech and health niches $1.00 to $2.00 and above
United Kingdom, Germany, France, Japan, South Korea $0.40 to $1.00
Brazil, Mexico $0.15 to $0.50

What matters is not only where you signed up, it is where your viewers are. A British account whose audience is mostly Brazilian earns an RPM near the bottom of the table. A North American audience pulls the average up. Advertising value per market decides this, not your passport.

Length works on two levels. A 59 second video pays nothing at all, and that part is binary. Above the minute, the longer people actually watch, the higher the reward. A three minute video held to the end is worth noticeably more than three one minute clips for the same total views.

What 100,000 and 1 million views come to

Take an eligible UK account with a domestic audience, the $0.40 to $1.00 band, and a 70% qualified view rate, which is already generous.

  • 1,000 displayed views: 700 qualified, so $0.28 to $0.70.
  • 100,000 displayed views: 70,000 qualified, so $28 to $70.
  • 1 million displayed views: 700,000 qualified, so $280 to $700.

A million views therefore lands somewhere between roughly $280 and $700 for a European creator. Documented cases go far lower: one creator recorded $31.01 from 1.1 million views over seven days, an RPM of three cents. That is the reason to distrust any article quoting a single number.

On payment, the reward shows up one to three days after the views, and money moves around the 15th of the following month once the minimum is cleared. That minimum is around $10 in the Help Center, with $50 mentioned in some local terms, so check the figure in your own dashboard.

LIVE gifts

This is the first source that comfortably beats views. During a live, viewers buy coins and turn them into gifts. The creator receives Diamonds, valued around $0.005 each, so 200 Diamonds to the dollar, with TikTok keeping roughly half the original value.

In practice a gift costing the viewer $5 leaves the creator $2.50 to $3.50. Observed participation runs between 1.5% and 4% of unique viewers, meaning 15 to 40 people sending something per 1,000 viewers in a session.

The order of magnitude is what stands out. Gifts account for around 72% of income for creators who go live, and the average for those accounts in mid 2026 sits near $3,200 a month. A two hour broadcast can beat a full month of view rewards.

TikTok Shop affiliate commissions

The mechanic is simple. You pick a product from the creator marketplace, feature it in a video or a live, and take a commission on every sale attributed to your link.

Observed rates run from 5% to 30% depending on category. Beauty, supplements and fashion sit at the top, electronics at the bottom. The 2026 US average is 13.02%. Open collaborations hover around 10% to 15%, targeted collaborations negotiate between 18% and 25%, and top sellers sometimes reach 50%.

The arithmetic changes scale entirely. A video with 50,000 views might pay £12 through Creator Rewards. The same video selling thirty products at £40 with a 15% commission returns £180. Same work, one extra link.

Brand deals

The best paid source, and the only one not governed by a platform formula. Rates recorded in 2026 for a single sponsored video:

  • Nano, 1,000 to 10,000 followers: $25 to $200.
  • Micro, 10,000 to 100,000 followers: $200 to $1,500.
  • Mid tier, 100,000 to 500,000 followers: $2,500 to $10,000.
  • Macro, above that: $10,000 to $50,000.

The industry baseline is roughly $0.01 to $0.02 per follower, then adjusted by engagement rate, niche, exclusivity and usage rights. Spark Ads rights, which let the brand run your video as paid media, commonly add 25% to 40%.

Seen from the other side, negotiated cost per view runs from $0.008 in lifestyle to $0.15 in finance. So 1,000 views are worth eight cents to a fashion label and $150 to a financial advertiser. The same thousand views, paid by TikTok in one case and by an advertiser in the other, do not carry remotely the same value.

No rate card applies without an audience

Rewards, gifts and brand deals all start from the same place: videos that travel. The first few hours decide the rest.

FAQ

How much does TikTok pay per 1,000 views? range
Between $0.40 and $1.20 per 1,000 qualified views according to aggregated creator payout reports from 2026, with US accounts in high value niches going above $2.00. TikTok publishes no official rate and the figure changes monthly. Views under five seconds and views from outside the For You feed are not counted.
Do you really need 10,000 followers to get paid? eligibility
For the Creator Rewards Program, yes: 10,000 followers, 100,000 views on a rolling 30 day window, age 18, a personal account and an eligible country. LIVE gifts, TikTok Shop affiliate links and brand deals have their own thresholds, usually much lower, and generally pay more.
Why do my videos get views but earn nothing? length
The most common cause is length: only videos over one minute are monetised. After that come Photo Mode, Duets, Stitches, reposted content carrying a watermark, and switching to a Business account, which removes eligibility with no clear notification.
How much is 1 million views on TikTok worth? maths
For a European account with a domestic audience, expect roughly $280 to $700 once unqualified views are removed. Documented cases go much lower, down to $31 for 1.1 million views. No single number holds: niche, viewer country and watch time decide it.
Which TikTok income source pays the most? income
Brand deals, by a wide margin: $200 to $1,500 per video between 10,000 and 100,000 followers. LIVE gifts come next and make up around 72% of income for creators who broadcast, then TikTok Shop affiliate commissions at 5% to 30%. View rewards come last.
